Toronto FC sign CBC TV deal
If you are in Canada, you'll get a chance to 14 TFC games this season on CBC. The TV channel and pro soccer team signed a deal yesterday that gives CBC the rights. The deal also gives CBC the rights to the 2007 MLS All-Star game, playoffs and final.
One last part of the deal gives the CBC rights to stream all TFC matches on demand via cbcsports.ca.
MLS must be happy to have yet another TV deal. Even if four of the CBC matches will be tape delayed (including one that will not air till 1am), it still great to see MLS soccer reaching another market.
