East Asian Games - Soccer Finals

The East Asian Games are now over, so who took the medals?

The third place match saw Japan play South Korea. Japan was the favorite and sure enough, they walked out with the win and the bronze medal. Most everyone thought they would take gold, but I'm sure they are happy to walk out with something. Japan 4 - 1 South Korea

Then there was the final match of the games. China was facing off with North Korea. These two teams last played one another just 72 hours earlier with North Korea pulling out a surprise win. However, China must have been excited about their win against Japan the day before, as they came out strong. The game was back and forth, but finally Chinese midfielder Chen Tao found net. One goal is all it would take for China to get gold. China 1 - 0 North Korea
