Mexico Coach Ricardo La Volpe keeps his job

The man that thinks the US is a "little team" that his "grandmother could play for" will get to stay on as coach for at least a little while longer. The owners of Mexico's first division teams decided to continue to support La Volpe. Former Mexican striker and current coach of first division club UNAM Hugo Sanchez tried to convince the owners to fire La Volpe and hire him instead, but came up short. I wonder if those two will be exchanging Christmas cards this year?
