No teams have yet to qualify in the CAF (African) zone.
Australia won the OFC (Oceanian) zone today by beating the Solomon Islands 2-1, give them a 9-1 aggregate win in the playoff. Australia will face the fifth place South American team in a home-away playoff in November. In 2002, the Socceroos lost to the Uruguayans to miss out Korea/Japan 2002.
