FC Dallas lose Ruiz for 2-3 weeks

FC Dallas got some bad news today when doctors determined that forward Carlos Ruiz will miss the next 2-3 weeks due to a right hamstring strain suffered during Saturday's victory over Real Salt Lake. He limped off the Saturday's game in the 75th minute.

Last season, Ruiz missed 13 games through injury and national team duty but still scored 11 goals. Ruiz has no goals so far this season, but he has set up three of the team's five goals.

With Ruiz out, Roberto Mina and Kenny Cooper will need to lead the attack.
