Bruce names the starting XI

The starting lineup is out and there are two small surprises. Here is the list:

Goal: Kasey Keller

Defense: Steve Cherundolo, Oguchi Onyewu, Gregg Berhalter, Eddie Lewis

Midfield: Clint Dempsey, Kerry Zavagnin, Landon Donovan, Demarcus Beasley

Forward: Taylor Twellman, Eddie Johnson

The two spots that stand out to me are Dempsey and Twellman. The fact that they are starting speaks to how close they must be to making the World Cup squad. Bruce wants to see how they do in an intense environment like this one. That said, I'm sure that part of the Twellman cap has to do with not wanted to over use McBride.

Goal: Artur Boruc

Defense: Marcin Baszcynski, Jacek Bak, Mariusz Jop, Michal Zewlakow

Midfield: Jacek Krzynowek, Arkadiusz Radomski, Euzebiuz Smolarek, Miroslaw Szymkowiak

Forwad: Tomasz Frankowski, Maciej Zurawski

I have this feeling Euzebiuz Smolarek is going to try and cause trouble for the US.
