Live blogging of Champions League Scores

I want to let all of you know that I will again be blogging the Champions League games live today (unless something big comes up). Anyway, log on around 2:45pm EST and I will do my best to keep you up-to-date on all the events as they happen.

Here is the list of matches for today:

Club Brugge v Rapid Vienna
Juventus v Bayern Munich
Arsenal v Sparta Prague
FC Thun v Ajax Amsterdam

Barcelona v Panathinaikos
Werder Bremen v Udinese
Benfica v Villarreal
Lille v Man Utd

Bayern Munich, Arsenal and Barcelona can earn their pass to the knockout phase with victories today, but I think a lot of attention will focus on the Man United match. Sir Alex Ferguson is under a lot of pressure after his sides 4-1 crap out at Middlesbrough. If Man U fail to get 3 points today, they will be dangerously close to missing the knockout rounds. Wayne Rooney will be back for the side, but how much will Roy Keane's comments about the side hurt their play. The other match in Man U's group will see Benfica taking on Villarreal. If Man U goes down, the winner of this one would sit atop Group D. Ajax will also be looking to take firm control of second place with a win against FC Thun in Group B action.

By the way, it looks like Mourinho actually admitted that his side deserved to not win in their match yesterday. Nice to not hear him blame someone else for the result.
