Columbus Crew get a new coach
It looks like Sigi Schmid will return to the MLS as the new coach of the Columbus Crew.Schmid was last seen in the MLS some 14 months ago with the LA Galaxy. Under his guidance, LA won their only MLS Cup in 2002. He also took them to the 2001 US Open Cup championship and the 2000 CONCACAF Champions Cup. His record with the team was 79-53-32. He was fired last August.
The question now is can he do the same with the Crew.

Yeah, um... The thing is, he just might. The Crew can be a good team, Sigi plays a system that will help their personnel. Yeah, I'd be shocked if they didn't make the playoffs next year.
