US still 7th best team in FIFA rankings; England back in the top 10

FIFA has released they rankings for October and the US still stands at seventh. For England, they move back into the top 10. Will this be as reported as their fall was?

Anyway, here is the top 20.

The biggest jump of all those listed goes to Uruguay who moves up 8 spots. Croatia also did well by moving up 5 spots.

The biggest winners of the whole ranking order are Guyana (moved up 14 spots to 168), Scotland (up 12 to 62) and Ghana (up 11 to 51). On the other side of things, Poland moved up of the top 20 by dropping 6 spots to 23rd, Thailand is now 101st after moving down seven, Slovenia moved back nine spaces to 61st and Venezuela fell 14 places to 71st.

One last note, currently Denmark (14th) is the highest ranked team not going to the World Cup. However, if Spain or Turkey fails to advance from their playoff, the Danes might not have this honor any longer.
