Thursday Night Soccer - Colorado vs. DC United
Colorado Rapids (4-6-3) vs. DC United (5-4-2)

When last these two met, it was opening weekend and the Rapids surprised the MSL world by bringing down DC. Great things were predicted for Colorado because of that win but then came the next 11 weeks. Instead of riding high, the Rapids find themselves in a scoring and winning slump. They have lost four in a row and have only scored more then one goal in two of their 13 matches.
Meanwhile back in the nation's capital, United recovered from a horrible April to put together a strong two-month run that saw their defense pull together and the midfield finally start making things happen. With things better in the back, they got more chances up top and thus got more wins.
For this game I see DC taking advantage of the Rapids many open areas they like to leave around the field. This will give United the time they need to put together their passes and get some goals. However, they will give up a goal which can be dangerous against Colorado.
Predictions: Me CR 1-3 DC, Wife CR 1-2 DC

Hi,
Maybe you can help me...I'm only in DC for the summer and have friends coming in August. Is there any where they can take part in a soccer game while they're here? Amateur obviously!
