DaMarcus Beasley picks up another injury
DaMarcus Beasley injured his right ankle during a reserves match on Tuesday night; however, Manchester City officials are optimistic that he will be fully recovered by the time the EPL returns after the international break.
"At first, we feared it was worse because he was in a lot of pain, but it's not a long term injury," said City press liaison Tim Ashcroft. "They are talking like he could be ready by the end of next week."
A scan of the ankle this morning showed a partial ligament tear.
Beasley has seen very little action with City this season due to a hamstring injury.
