Not a big surprise that Australia won, but to win by seven goals, wow. On Tuesday (6 Sept), these two will meet again in Soloman. Unless Australia completely implodes and looses the match by eight goals, they will get to face the fifth place team coming out of South America.
By the way, the only reason Oceania doesn't have a direct spot to the finals is Australia. People know that they would always win it. By forcing them to have a playoff against some South American club, they are making them prove themselves worthy of the World Cup stage. If they play like they did today, they will be worthy.
