More bad news for FC Dallas
FC Dallas got some more bad news today when their goalkeeper Jeff Cassar was placed on the disable list for six to eight weeks due to a separation of the AC joint in his right shoulder. The really interesting part of the article is this:
"FC Dallas manager Colin Clarke said the team will look for a temporary fill-in at backup. Chris Gomez, a rookie from the developmental roster, is the only other goalkeeper with the club."
The fact that they have no number 2 is a bit worrisome. With the way their defense has been playing during the last eight weeks, they need a good man between the posts. FCD's hope for their first MLS Championship just got a little harder to achieve.
