US to face Poland on March 1
It looks like Poland will be the opponent for the US in Kaiserslautern, Germany, on March 1. This will be the first of 2 matches in Germany during March. On the 22nd they will face Germany in Dortmund. During the 2002 World Cup, Poland beat the US 3-1 in their group match, so the US will look for some revenge. This will be an extremely important match for the red, white and blue. It will give them a chance to get a win on European soil as well as allow some measurement for the progress made in the last four years.
The Bruce likes to pooh-pooh talk about some sort of European curse on the team, but until they get a win over there, it's going to keep coming up.
As a little extra bonus, this match will be played on the same field as the US's June 17th game against Italy.

Poland should be a good test for them.
They do post a bit of danger, can win when they want to.
If the USA want to progress out of the Group of Death in the World Cup then they have to beat* this sort of team convincingly.
(* when I say beat I don't mean CIA type of beatings ;o))
